Jacob Sylvester

Welcome!

I am Jacob Sylvester. I am a musician, writer, speaker, and educator. I was born in New Orleans, LA. As a 10 year old I move to Washington, DC with my family. I play several musical instruments (including guitar, bass guitar, and piano). I started writing poems at age 13. Thereafter, I began to write song lyrics and short stories. Additionally, I have an A.A.S in Accounting from the University of the District of Columbia, a B.A. in English and a M.S. in Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
